When his health insurance no longer covers physical therapy sessions, Nice decides to take his therapy into his own hands, embarking on a cross-country road trip that will test his physical and emotional limits.For the journey from New York to California, Nice takes a crew consisting of his mother, two childhood friends and a documentary film team to help him photograph the American landscape, replicating the way he now sees the world.
