These patterns are shaped by the interplay of legal norms, economic drivers and societal factors. The various dimensions of this Migration-Mobility Nexus are investigated by means of newly collected survey data: the Migration-Mobility Survey. The book covers different aspects of life in the host country, including the family dimension, the labour market and political participation as well as social integration. The book also takes into account the chronological dimension of migration by considering the migrants' arrival, their stay, and their expectations regarding return. Through applying conclusions drawn from the Swiss context to the migration literature on other European and high-income countries, this book contributes to new knowledge on current migration processes in high-income countries. As such it will be a valuable reference work to scholars and students in migration, social scientists and policy makers. 001359839 650_0 $$aMigration. 001359839 650_0 $$aPopulation. 001359839 655_0 $$aElectronic books 001359839 7001_ $$aSteiner, Ilka.,$$eeditor 001359839 7001_ $$aWanner, Philippe.,$$eeditor 001359839 77608 $$iPrint version:$$z9783030056704 001359839 77608 $$iPrint version:$$z9783030056728 001359839 830_0 $$aIMISCOE Research Series,$$x2364-4087 001359839 852__ $$bebk 001359839 85640 $$3Springer Nature$$uhttps://univsouthin.idm.oclc.org/login?url=https://link.springer.com/10.1007/978-3-030-05671-1$$zOnline Access$$91397441.1 001359839 909CO $$ooai:library.usi.edu:1359839$$pGLOBAL_SET 001359839 980__ $$aBIB 001359839 980__ $$aEBOOK 001359839 982__ $$aEbook 001359839 983__ $$aOnline 001359839 994__ $$a92$$bISE
