Fannie dreamed that America could achieve its ideals of equality and justice for all, and she sacrificed her life to help that dream come true. Fannie became a union activist, helping to create St. Louis, Missouri, Local 67 of the United Garment Workers of America. She traveled the nation and eventually gave her life, calling for fair wages and decent working and living conditions for workers in both the garment and mining industries. Her accomplishments live on today. This book includes an index, glossary, a timeline of unions in the United States, and endnotes. 001372923 5211_ $$aAges 10-14. 001372923 60010 $$aSellins, Fannie,$$d1870 or 1872-1919$$vJuvenile literature. 001372923 60011 $$aSellins, Fannie,$$d1870 or 1872-1919 001372923 650_0 $$aWomen labor leaders$$zUnited States$$vBiography$$vJuvenile literature. 001372923 650_0 $$aLabor unions$$xOrganizing$$zUnited States$$xHistory$$vJuvenile literature. 001372923 650_0 $$aLabor unions$$zUnited States$$xHistory$$vJuvenile literature. 001372923 650_0 $$aLabor$$zUnited States$$xHistory$$vJuvenile literature. 001372923 650_1 $$aWomen labor leaders 001372923 650_1 $$aLabor leaders 001372923 650_1 $$aLabor unions$$xOrganizing 001372923 650_1 $$aLabor unions 001372923 650_1 $$aLabor 001372923 650_1 $$aWomen$$vBiography 001372923 655_4 $$aBiography. 001372923 655_4 $$aHistory. 001372923 655_4 $$aJuvenile works. 001372923 655_7 $$aBiographies.$$2lcgft 001372923 852__ $$bcmc$$hHD6509.S45$$iF37 2016 001372923 909CO $$ooai:library.usi.edu:1372923$$pGLOBAL_SET 001372923 980__ $$aBOOK 001372923 980__ $$aBIB
