The experts participating in the project describe how SODALITE works and how it can be exploited by end users. While multiple languages and tools are available in the literature to support DevOps teams in the automation of deployment and operation steps, still these activities require specific know-how and skills that cannot be found in average teams. The SODALITE framework tackles this problem by offering modelling and smart editing features to allow those we call Application Ops Experts to work without knowing low level details about the adopted, potentially heterogeneous, infrastructures. The framework offers also mechanisms to verify the quality of the defined models, generate the corresponding executable infrastructural code, automatically wrap application components within proper execution containers, orchestrate all activities concerned with deployment and operation of all system components, and support on-the-fly self-adaptation and refactoring. 001431475 588__ $$aOnline resource; title from PDF title page (SpringerLink, viewed July 20, 2022). 001431475 650_0 $$aComputer software$$xDevelopment$$xManagement. 001431475 650_0 $$aSoftware engineering. 001431475 655_0 $$aElectronic books. 001431475 7001_ $$aDi Nitto, Elisabetta,$$eeditor.$$1https://orcid.org/0000-0003-3422-5171 001431475 7001_ $$aGorroñogoitia Cruz, Jesús,$$eeditor.$$0(orcid)0000-0002-0878-6031$$1https://orcid.org/0000-0002-0878-6031 001431475 7001_ $$aKumara, Indika,$$eeditor.$$0(orcid)0000-0003-4355-0494$$1https://orcid.org/0000-0003-4355-0494 001431475 7001_ $$aRadolović, Dragan,$$eeditor.$$0(orcid)0000-0002-8104-1909$$1https://orcid.org/0000-0002-8104-1909 001431475 7001_ $$aTokmakov, Kamil,$$eeditor.$$0(orcid)0000-0002-3160-2309$$1https://orcid.org/0000-0002-3160-2309 001431475 7001_ $$aVasileiou, Zoe,$$eeditor.$$0(orcid)0000-0003-0634-6793$$1https://orcid.org/0000-0003-0634-6793 001431475 830_0 $$aSpringerBriefs in applied sciences and technology.$$pPoliMI SpringerBriefs,$$x2282-2585 001431475 852__ $$bebk 001431475 85640 $$3Springer Nature$$uhttps://link.springer.com/10.1007/978-3-031-04961-3$$zOnline Access$$91397441.2 001431475 909CO $$ooai:library.usi.edu:1431475$$pGLOBAL_SET 001431475 980__ $$aBIB 001431475 980__ $$aEBOOK 001431475 982__ $$aEbook 001431475 983__ $$aOnline 001431475 994__ $$a92$$bISE
