The book introduces new applications of the satellite passive microwave observations to detailed systematic study of tropical cyclones' evolution, climatology and characteristics of atmospheric river, parameters of global atmospheric circulation and their variations on climatically significant scales. The results presented in the book demonstrate a clear relation between the convergence/divergence of latent heat from the lower atmosphere to the center of tropical cyclone with variations of its intensity and provide a better insight into the tropical cyclone dynamical energy balance based on remote data. 001432068 588__ $$aOnline resource; title from digital title page (viewed on November 20, 2020). 001432068 650_0 $$aSatellite meteorology. 001432068 650_0 $$aArtificial satellites in earth sciences. 001432068 650_0 $$aCyclones$$xTracking. 001432068 650_6 $$aMétéorologie par satellite. 001432068 650_6 $$aSatellites artificiels dans les sciences de la terre. 001432068 650_6 $$aCyclones$$xDétection. 001432068 655_0 $$aElectronic books. 001432068 77608 $$iPrint version:$$aErmakov, Dmitry M.$$tSatellite radiothermovision of atmospheric processes.$$dCham, Switzerland : Springer ; Chichester, UK : Published in association with Praxis Publishing, [2021]$$z3030570843$$z9783030570842$$w(OCoLC)1176324888 001432068 830_0 $$aSpringer Praxis books. 001432068 852__ $$bebk 001432068 85640 $$3Springer Nature$$uhttps://univsouthin.idm.oclc.org/login?url=https://link.springer.com/10.1007/978-3-030-57085-9$$zOnline Access$$91397441.1 001432068 909CO $$ooai:library.usi.edu:1432068$$pGLOBAL_SET 001432068 980__ $$aBIB 001432068 980__ $$aEBOOK 001432068 982__ $$aEbook 001432068 983__ $$aOnline 001432068 994__ $$a92$$bISE
