Proceeding from the lexical core to the top of DP, it uses Hungarian as a window on the underlying universal functional hierarchy of Noun Phrases, but it also regularly complements and supports the analysis with cross-linguistic evidence. The book works out a minimal map of the extended NP in the sense that the proposed hierarchy only has projections which host overt material and it does not draw on semantically empty word order projections. Topics which receive special attention include the syntax of classifiers, demonstratives, proper names, possessive NPs and plural pronouns. 001435283 588__ $$aOnline resource; title from PDF title page (SpringerLink, viewed April 6, 2021). 001435283 650_0 $$aHungarian language$$xNoun phrase. 001435283 650_0 $$aHungarian language$$xNominals. 001435283 650_0 $$aLanguage and languages$$xPhilosophy. 001435283 650_0 $$aGrammar, Comparative and general$$xSyntax. 001435283 650_6 $$aHongrois (Langue)$$xNominaux. 001435283 650_6 $$aLangage et langues$$xPhilosophie. 001435283 650_6 $$aSyntaxe. 001435283 655_0 $$aElectronic books. 001435283 77608 $$iPrint version: $$z9783030634391 001435283 77608 $$iPrint version: $$z9783030634407 001435283 830_0 $$aStudies in natural language and linguistic theory ;$$vv. 100.$$x0924-4670 001435283 852__ $$bebk 001435283 85640 $$3Springer Nature$$uhttps://univsouthin.idm.oclc.org/login?url=https://link.springer.com/10.1007/978-3-030-63441-4$$zOnline Access$$91397441.1 001435283 909CO $$ooai:library.usi.edu:1435283$$pGLOBAL_SET 001435283 980__ $$aBIB 001435283 980__ $$aEBOOK 001435283 982__ $$aEbook 001435283 983__ $$aOnline 001435283 994__ $$a92$$bISE
