Using a Polish language internet database, the authors shed light on areas that need to be addressed when considering the adoption of particular trade policies by applying content and statistical analysis to produce an easy to deploy measure of populism in digital media, the media Populism Ratio. Defining a mismatch between social perception and expert knowledge may contribute to a better understanding of the controversies on free trade, as well as properly defining possible sources of populism and social conflicts therefore also revealing some potential weaknesses in the trade policy implementation level which are at times neglected or underestimated. The book will be relevant to students and researchers interested in economic policy, economic narratives and cultural economics. 001438194 650_0 $$aCommercial policy. 001438194 650_0 $$aFree trade. 001438194 650_6 $$aPolitique commerciale. 001438194 650_6 $$aLibre-échange. 001438194 655_0 $$aElectronic books. 001438194 7001_ $$aLis, Piotr. 001438194 7001_ $$aKonieczna-Sałamatin, Joanna. 001438194 77608 $$iPrint version:$$aGawrońska-Nowak, Bogna$$tTrade Wins or Trade Wars$$dCham : Springer International Publishing AG,c2021$$z9783030769963 001438194 852__ $$bebk 001438194 85640 $$3Springer Nature$$uhttps://univsouthin.idm.oclc.org/login?url=https://link.springer.com/10.1007/978-3-030-76997-0$$zOnline Access$$91397441.1 001438194 909CO $$ooai:library.usi.edu:1438194$$pGLOBAL_SET 001438194 980__ $$aBIB 001438194 980__ $$aEBOOK 001438194 982__ $$aEbook 001438194 983__ $$aOnline 001438194 994__ $$a92$$bISE
