The grounding of this research is reconceptualization of postmodern narrative theoretical influences. Through narrative inquiry, the book connects ongoing research to ongoing pedagogy. It explores the following research questions: (1) How do learners across generations create, build upon, and reinvent each others stories to make new meanings through consideration of family history, multigenerational knowledge, and experiences?; (2) How do learners stories offer new possibilities through leadership that connects Global South knowledge with Global North contexts?; (3) In what ways is it possible to use this framework and methodology in Higher Education to promote systemic consistency in promoting social justice that is generatively inclusive? More than half of the research participants have truly lived bi-culturally, many of the children in the early care and education programs in the USA are from Mexico and Central America. These collaborators truly carry their roots with them as they strive for justice and authenticity in early childhood teacher education and community activists working with families and children. 001438719 588__ $$aDescription based on online resource; title from PDF title page (viewed June 10, 2022). 001438719 650_0 $$aEarly childhood education$$xStudy and teaching (Higher) 001438719 650_0 $$aEarly childhood educators$$xTraining of. 001438719 650_0 $$aChildren of immigrants$$xEducation. 001438719 650_0 $$aChildren of migrant laborers$$xEducation. 001438719 650_6 $$aEnfants d'immigrants$$xÉducation. 001438719 650_6 $$aEnfants de travailleurs migrants$$xÉducation. 001438719 655_0 $$aElectronic books. 001438719 7001_ $$aCallaway-Cole, Larisa,$$eauthor. 001438719 7001_ $$aTaha-Resnick, Adria,$$eauthor. 001438719 77608 $$iPrint version:$$z9811641560$$z9789811641565$$w(OCoLC)1256253385 001438719 830_0 $$aRethinking higher education. 001438719 852__ $$bebk 001438719 85640 $$3Springer Nature$$uhttps://univsouthin.idm.oclc.org/login?url=https://link.springer.com/10.1007/978-981-16-4157-2$$zOnline Access$$91397441.1 001438719 909CO $$ooai:library.usi.edu:1438719$$pGLOBAL_SET 001438719 980__ $$aBIB 001438719 980__ $$aEBOOK 001438719 982__ $$aEbook 001438719 983__ $$aOnline 001438719 994__ $$a92$$bISE
