Geographers and philosophers share the responsibility for that. On the one hand, geographers have considered as a dangerous deviation any attempt to elaborate an image of the Earth which was not a mere replica of a cartographic representation. On the other hand, philosophers have generally been uninterested in a discipline offering little chance for critical reflection. In light of these considerations, the purpose of this book is to identify some fundamental philosophical issues involved in the reflection of geography by adopting a perspective which looks at the discipline with a specific focus on its fundamental concepts and distinctions. 001439151 588__ $$aOnline resource; title from PDF title page (SpringerLink, viewed September 1, 2021). 001439151 650_0 $$aGeography$$xPhilosophy. 001439151 650_6 $$aGĂ©ographie$$xPhilosophie. 001439151 655_0 $$aElectronic books. 001439151 7001_ $$aTambassi, Timothy,$$eeditor$$1https://orcid.org/0000-0001-6460-5920 001439151 7001_ $$aTanca, Marcello,$$eeditor$$1https://orcid.org/0000-0002-2105-0942 001439151 77608 $$iPrint version:$$z3030771547$$z9783030771546$$w(OCoLC)1249502769 001439151 830_0 $$aSpringer geography,$$x2194-3168 001439151 852__ $$bebk 001439151 85640 $$3Springer Nature$$uhttps://univsouthin.idm.oclc.org/login?url=https://link.springer.com/10.1007/978-3-030-77155-3$$zOnline Access$$91397441.1 001439151 909CO $$ooai:library.usi.edu:1439151$$pGLOBAL_SET 001439151 980__ $$aBIB 001439151 980__ $$aEBOOK 001439151 982__ $$aEbook 001439151 983__ $$aOnline 001439151 994__ $$a92$$bISE
