The Syrian crisis has had a major effect on the regional order in the Middle East. Syria has become a territory where the rivalry between Russia and Western powers is being played out, and with the Wests gradual withdrawal, the conflict will without a doubt have lasting effects locally and on the international order. This collection focuses on the effects of the Syrian crisis on the new governance of the Middle East region by three political regimes: Russia, Iran, and Turkey. Many articles and a number of books have been written on this conflict, which has lasted over ten years, but no publication has examined simultaneously and comparatively how these three states are participating in the shared management of the Syrian conflict. Bayram Balci, CNRS/CERI Sciences Po Paris, Institut Francais dEtudes Anatoliennes, Istanbul, Turkey. Balci works on religion and politics in Turkey, Central Asia, and the Middle East. Nicolas Monceau is Associate Professor of Political Science, University of Bordeaux, France. His research focuses on Turkish politics and Turkey in its regional and international environment. He has published several books on Turkey and the EU as well as the Turkish elite. 001439692 588__ $$aOnline resource; title from PDF title page (SpringerLink, viewed September 22, 2021). 001439692 647_7 $$aSyrian Civil War$$c(Syria :$$d2011- )$$2fast$$0(OCoLC)fst01907471 001439692 651_0 $$aTurkey$$xForeign relations. 001439692 651_0 $$aRussia$$xForeign relations. 001439692 651_0 $$aIran$$xForeign relations. 001439692 651_0 $$aMiddle East$$xPolitics and government$$y21st century. 001439692 651_0 $$aSyria$$xHistory$$yCivil War, 2011- 001439692 651_6 $$aIran$$xRelations extérieures. 001439692 651_6 $$aMoyen-Orient$$xPolitique et gouvernement$$y21e siècle. 001439692 651_6 $$aSyrie$$xHistoire$$y2011- (Guerre civile) 001439692 655_7 $$aHistory.$$2fast$$0(OCoLC)fst01411628 001439692 655_0 $$aElectronic books. 001439692 7001_ $$aBalci, Bayram,$$eeditor. 001439692 7001_ $$aMonceau, Nicolas,$$eeditor. 001439692 77608 $$iPrint version:$$z9783030802912 001439692 77608 $$iPrint version:$$z3030802906$$z9783030802905$$w(OCoLC)1255175899 001439692 830_0 $$aCERI series in international relations and political economy. 001439692 852__ $$bebk 001439692 85640 $$3Springer Nature$$uhttps://univsouthin.idm.oclc.org/login?url=https://link.springer.com/10.1007/978-3-030-80291-2$$zOnline Access$$91397441.1 001439692 909CO $$ooai:library.usi.edu:1439692$$pGLOBAL_SET 001439692 980__ $$aBIB 001439692 980__ $$aEBOOK 001439692 982__ $$aEbook 001439692 983__ $$aOnline 001439692 994__ $$a92$$bISE
