This volume addresses this issue by drawing connections between the ontology of technology on the one hand and technologys ethical and aesthetic significance on the other. The book first considers what technology is and what kind of entities it produces. Then it examines the moral implications of technology. Finally, it explores the connections between technology and the arts. Enrico Terrone is Associate Professor at the University of Genoa, Italy. He works on philosophical issues concerning aesthetics, ontology and technology. His main area of research is philosophy of film. His most recent previous book (co-authored with Luca Bandirali) is Concept TV: An Aesthetics of Television Series (2021). Vera Tripodi is Assistant Professor at the University of Milan, Italy. She specializes in feminist philosophy and ethics, bioethics, ethics of technology, and social ontology. She is a Founding Member and Vice President of the SWIP ITALIA (The Society for Women in Philosophy Italy). 001443378 588__ $$aOnline resource; title from PDF title page (SpringerLink, viewed January 26, 2022). 001443378 650_0 $$aTechnology$$xPhilosophy. 001443378 650_0 $$aOntology. 001443378 650_0 $$aValues. 001443378 650_6 $$aTechnologie$$xPhilosophie. 001443378 650_6 $$aOntologie. 001443378 655_0 $$aElectronic books. 001443378 7001_ $$aTerrone, Enrico,$$d1970-$$eeditor. 001443378 7001_ $$aTripodi, Vera,$$eeditor. 001443378 77608 $$iPrint version:$$z3030887928$$z9783030887926$$w(OCoLC)1267386309 001443378 852__ $$bebk 001443378 85640 $$3Springer Nature$$uhttps://univsouthin.idm.oclc.org/login?url=https://link.springer.com/10.1007/978-3-030-88793-3$$zOnline Access$$91397441.1 001443378 909CO $$ooai:library.usi.edu:1443378$$pGLOBAL_SET 001443378 980__ $$aBIB 001443378 980__ $$aEBOOK 001443378 982__ $$aEbook 001443378 983__ $$aOnline 001443378 994__ $$a92$$bISE
