Summary This book summarizes evidence on frailty and ageing, how this may impact outcomes and how this can be incorporated in the decision-making process for cancer treatment. It discusses quality of life on frail senior adults and patient goals of care. The book aims to improve patient-treatment selection and the outcomes of patients by empowering clinicians to properly assess patients for frailty, either on their own or within a multidisciplinary setting.
