The perspective, derived from Schrodinger theory, is that of the individual electron in the sea of electrons via its temporal and stationary-state equations of motion the Quantal Newtonian Second and First Laws. The Laws are in terms of classical fields experienced by each electron, the sources of the fields being quantum-mechanical expectation values of Hermitian operators taken with respect to the wave function. Each electron experiences the external field, and internal fields representative of properties of the system, and a field descriptive of its response. The energies are obtained in terms of the fields. The Quantal Newtonian Laws lead to physical insights, and new properties of the electronic system are revealed. New mathematical understandings of Schrodinger theory emerge which show the equation to be intrinsically self-consistent. Another complimentary perspective to Schrodinger theory is its manifestation as a local effective potential theory described via Quantal Density Functional theory. This description too is in terms of classical fields and quantal sources. The theory provides a rigorous physical explanation of the mapping from the interacting system to the local potential theory equivalent. The complementary perspective to stationary ground state Schrodinger theory founded in the theorems of Hohenberg and Kohn, their extension to the presence of a magnetic field and to the temporal domain Modern Density Functional Theory -- is also described. The new perspectives are elucidated by application to analytically solvable interacting systems. These solutions and other relevant wave function properties are derived. 001448090 588__ $$aDescription based on print version record. 001448090 60010 $$aSchrödinger, Erwin,$$d1887-1961$$1https://isni.org/isni/0000000109035603 001448090 650_0 $$aQuantum theory. 001448090 650_0 $$aElectrons. 001448090 650_6 $$aThéorie quantique.$$0(CaQQLa)201-0010146 001448090 650_6 $$aÉlectrons.$$0(CaQQLa)201-0004714 001448090 655_0 $$aElectronic books. 001448090 77608 $$iPrint version:$$aSahni, Viraht, 1944-$$tSchrödinger theory of electrons.$$dCham : Springer, 2022$$z9783030974084$$w(OCoLC)1308481338 001448090 830_0 $$aSpringer tracts in modern physics ;$$v285. 001448090 852__ $$bebk 001448090 85640 $$3Springer Nature$$uhttps://univsouthin.idm.oclc.org/login?url=https://link.springer.com/10.1007/978-3-030-97409-1$$zOnline Access$$91397441.1 001448090 909CO $$ooai:library.usi.edu:1448090$$pGLOBAL_SET 001448090 980__ $$aBIB 001448090 980__ $$aEBOOK 001448090 982__ $$aEbook 001448090 983__ $$aOnline 001448090 994__ $$a92$$bISE
