In turn, it evaluates financial inclusion in the context of specific challenges faced by unbanked and underbanked customers, who are easy targets for cyber criminals because they tend to have lower levels of digital literacy. The book presents novel discussions that identify the challenges and flaws associated with the enforcement of financial inclusion laws and related measures intended to promote financial inclusion in the SADC region. This is primarily done in order to reveal the current strengths and weaknesses of financial inclusion laws in relation to certain aspects of the companies, securities and financial markets in the region. For example, there is no common financial inclusion instrument/law that is effectively and uniformly applied throughout the SADC. This has impeded the enforcement authorities efforts to effectively combat financial exclusion across the region. The book is likely the most comprehensive study to date on the regulation and promotion of financial inclusion in the SADC region and fills a major gap in SADC and African legal jurisprudence. As such, it offers a valuable asset for policymakers, attorneys, bankers, securities (share) holders, and other market participants who deal with financial inclusion, as well as undergraduate and graduate students interested in the topic. 001461918 588__ $$aDescription based in part on online surrogate, resource not consulted. 001461918 650_0 $$aFinance$$xLaw and legislation$$xSocial aspects$$zSouth Africa. 001461918 650_0 $$aFinance$$xLaw and legislation$$xSocial aspects$$zNamibia. 001461918 650_0 $$aFinance$$xLaw and legislation$$xSocial aspects$$zBotswana. 001461918 650_0 $$aFinance$$xLaw and legislation$$xSocial aspects$$zZimbabwe. 001461918 650_0 $$aFinancial services industry$$xTechnological innovations$$zSouth Africa. 001461918 650_0 $$aFinancial services industry$$xTechnological innovations$$zNamibia. 001461918 650_0 $$aFinancial services industry$$xTechnological innovations$$zBotswana. 001461918 650_0 $$aFinancial services industry$$xTechnological innovations$$zZimbabwe. 001461918 650_0 $$aFinancial services industry$$xGovernment policy$$zSouth Africa. 001461918 650_0 $$aFinancial services industry$$xGovernment policy$$zNamibia. 001461918 650_0 $$aFinancial services industry$$xGovernment policy$$zBotswana. 001461918 650_0 $$aFinancial services industry$$xGovernment policy$$zZimbabwe. 001461918 655_0 $$aElectronic books. 001461918 7001_ $$aChitimira, Howard,$$eeditor.$$1https://isni.org/isni/0000000499753044 001461918 7001_ $$aWarikandwa, Tapiwa V.$$q(Tapiwa Victor),$$eeditor.$$1https://isni.org/isni/0000000498468188 001461918 77608 $$iPrint version:$$tFinancial inclusion and digital transformation.$$dCham, Switzerland : Springer, [2023]$$z9783031238628$$w(OCoLC)1368272368 001461918 830_0 $$aIus gentium (Dordrecht, Netherlands) ;$$vv. 106.$$x1534-6781 001461918 830_0 $$aIus gentium (Dordrecht, Netherlands) ;$$vv. 106.$$x2214-9902 001461918 852__ $$bebk 001461918 85640 $$3Springer Nature$$uhttps://univsouthin.idm.oclc.org/login?url=https://link.springer.com/10.1007/978-3-031-23863-5$$zOnline Access$$91397441.1 001461918 909CO $$ooai:library.usi.edu:1461918$$pGLOBAL_SET 001461918 980__ $$aBIB 001461918 980__ $$aEBOOK 001461918 982__ $$aEbook 001461918 983__ $$aOnline 001461918 994__ $$a92$$bISE
