Some of them are presented in this Volume that grew out of the Random Transformations and Invariance in Stochastic Dynamics Workshop held in Verona in 2019. To understand the theory of thermo- and fluid-dynamics, statistical mechanics, quantum mechanics and quantum field theory, Albeverio and his collaborators developed stochastic theories having strong interplays with operator theory and functional analysis. His contribution to the theory of (non Gaussian)-SPDEs, the related theory of (pseudo-)differential operators, and ergodic theory had several impacts to solve problems related, among other topics, to thermo- and fluid dynamics. His scientific works in the theory of interacting particles and its extension to configuration spaces lead, e.g., to the solution of open problems in statistical mechanics and quantum field theory. Together with Raphael Hoegh Krohn he introduced the theory of infinite dimensional Dirichlet forms, which nowadays is used in many different contexts, and new methods in the theory of Feynman path integration. He did not fear to further develop different methods in Mathematics, like, e.g., the theory of non-standard analysis and p-adic numbers. 001463110 588__ $$aDescription based on print version record. 001463110 60010 $$aAlbeverio, Sergio$$1https://isni.org/isni/0000000108559990 001463110 650_0 $$aStochastic processes. 001463110 650_0 $$aQuantum theory. 001463110 650_0 $$aMathematical physics. 001463110 655_0 $$aElectronic books. 001463110 7001_ $$aHilbert, Astrid,$$eeditor. 001463110 7001_ $$aMastrogiacomo, Elisa,$$eeditor. 001463110 7001_ $$aMazzucchi, Sonia,$$eeditor.$$1https://isni.org/isni/0000000114478273 001463110 7001_ $$aRĂ¼diger, Barbara$$c(Mathematician),$$eeditor. 001463110 7001_ $$aUgolini, Stefania,$$eeditor. 001463110 77608 $$iPrint version:$$tQuantum and stochastic mathematical physics.$$dCham : Springer, 2022$$z9783031140303$$w(OCoLC)1346932606 001463110 830_0 $$aSpringer proceedings in mathematics & statistics ;$$vv.377. 001463110 852__ $$bebk 001463110 85640 $$3Springer Nature$$uhttps://univsouthin.idm.oclc.org/login?url=https://link.springer.com/10.1007/978-3-031-14031-0$$zOnline Access$$91397441.1 001463110 909CO $$ooai:library.usi.edu:1463110$$pGLOBAL_SET 001463110 980__ $$aBIB 001463110 980__ $$aEBOOK 001463110 982__ $$aEbook 001463110 983__ $$aOnline 001463110 994__ $$a92$$bISE
