The content of border and border zone has, during our research, changed from being a physical border between states to different borders and border zones which also include social and mental borders. The COVID-19 pandemic has challenged the concept even more. The expressions "lockdown" and "social distance" indicate such borders that we, a short time ago, had largely not considered in our everyday life. Not only states closed their borders, regions inside a country, and even borders within families were established. "Illegally" passing these borders could crate strong reactions both from the nature by a disease or by the authorities with fees. The pandemic has not only challenged our understanding of borders and border zones, but it has also challenged our understanding of human rights and especially our understanding of what freedom is. 001468145 588__ $$aOnline resource; title from PDF title page (SpringerLink, viewed May 25, 2023). 001468145 650_0 $$aBorderlands. 001468145 650_0 $$aBorderlands$$xSocial aspects. 001468145 655_0 $$aElectronic books. 001468145 7001_ $$aMethi, Jan Selmer,$$eeditor. 001468145 7001_ $$aNikiforova, Basia,$$eeditor. 001468145 77608 $$iPrint version:$$z3031297199$$z9783031297199$$w(OCoLC)1371398704 001468145 830_0 $$aKey challenges in geography.$$x2522-8439 001468145 852__ $$bebk 001468145 85640 $$3Springer Nature$$uhttps://univsouthin.idm.oclc.org/login?url=https://link.springer.com/10.1007/978-3-031-29720-5$$zOnline Access$$91397441.1 001468145 909CO $$ooai:library.usi.edu:1468145$$pGLOBAL_SET 001468145 980__ $$aBIB 001468145 980__ $$aEBOOK 001468145 982__ $$aEbook 001468145 983__ $$aOnline 001468145 994__ $$a92$$bISE
