Drawing on an extensive database developed by the author, the book recounts the development of an international network, taking the reader on a journey through the history of the movement before looking closely at a series of comparative case studies examining movement organisations in different countries. Ruth E. McKie is a sociologist and received her PhD in January 2018. The dissertation titled Rebranding the Climate Change Counter Movement through a Criminological and Political Economy Lens, is the basis for this book along with subsequent work in the field. Ruths other research interests include animal, feminist animal studies, natural disasters and community resilience. . 001468357 588__ $$aDescription based on print version record. 001468357 650_0 $$aClimate change mitigation. 001468357 650_0 $$aClimate justice. 001468357 650_0 $$aDenialism. 001468357 650_0 $$aPetroleum industry and trade$$xCorrupt practices. 001468357 650_0 $$aPetroleum industry and trade$$xEnvironmental aspects. 001468357 655_0 $$aElectronic books. 001468357 77608 $$iPrint version: $$z3031335910$$z9783031335914$$w(OCoLC)1376772969 001468357 77608 $$iPrint version:$$aMCKIE, RUTH.$$tCLIMATE CHANGE COUNTER MOVEMENT.$$d[S.l.] : PALGRAVE MACMILLAN, 2023$$z3031335910$$w(OCoLC)1376772969 001468357 852__ $$bebk 001468357 85640 $$3Springer Nature$$uhttps://univsouthin.idm.oclc.org/login?url=https://link.springer.com/10.1007/978-3-031-33592-1$$zOnline Access$$91397441.1 001468357 909CO $$ooai:library.usi.edu:1468357$$pGLOBAL_SET 001468357 980__ $$aBIB 001468357 980__ $$aEBOOK 001468357 982__ $$aEbook 001468357 983__ $$aOnline 001468357 994__ $$a92$$bISE
