For these reasons, the book focuses on the need to change the approach from risk management to vulnerability management that focuses on the immune system associated with contemporary business and socioeconomic systems. This book highlights the importance of pursuing policies to strengthen the immune systems to guarantee companies continuity and survival, like how we seek to immunize human beings against pathological risk. Alessandro Capocchi is a Full Professor of Business Economics at the University of Milano Bicocca (Milan). He lectures on Business Economics and Risk Management.
