Agents, who were not professional traders such as the members of the Society of Jesus, and the circulation and consumption of Asian goods in the local populations of Buenos Aires and Macau, were analyzed. Both cases of study will show us how these non-state agents- the Jesuits- build their own networks and exchange channels to Chinese goods distribution (i.e silk, porcelain, musk, amber and others) between Asia and Latin American. This book intends to break with the local scheme of Jesuit studies in order to combine the local scale with analysis of inter-regional processes on a continental scale, from a comparative perspective. 001470206 588__ $$aOnline resource; title from PDF title page (SpringerLink, viewed July 6, 2023). 001470206 61020 $$aJesuits$$zChina$$zMacau (Special Administrative Region)$$xHistory$$y16th century. 001470206 61020 $$aJesuits$$zArgentina$$zBuenos Aires$$xHistory$$y16th century. 001470206 61020 $$aJesuits$$zChina$$zMacau (Special Administrative Region)$$xHistory$$y17th century. 001470206 61020 $$aJesuits$$zArgentina$$zBuenos Aires$$xHistory$$y17th century. 001470206 651_0 $$aMacau (China : Special Administrative Region)$$xCommerce$$zChina. 001470206 651_0 $$aBuenos Aires (Argentina)$$xCommerce$$zChina. 001470206 651_0 $$aChina$$xCommerce$$zChina$$zMacau (Special Administrative Region) 001470206 651_0 $$aChina$$xCommerce$$zArgentina$$zBuenos Aires. 001470206 655_0 $$aElectronic books. 001470206 77608 $$iPrint version: $$z9819924634$$z9789819924639$$w(OCoLC)1374295931 001470206 830_0 $$aPalgrave studies in comparative global history,$$x2662-7973 001470206 852__ $$bebk 001470206 85640 $$3Springer Nature$$uhttps://univsouthin.idm.oclc.org/login?url=https://link.springer.com/10.1007/978-981-99-2464-6$$zOnline Access$$91397441.1 001470206 909CO $$ooai:library.usi.edu:1470206$$pGLOBAL_SET 001470206 980__ $$aBIB 001470206 980__ $$aEBOOK 001470206 982__ $$aEbook 001470206 983__ $$aOnline 001470206 994__ $$a92$$bISE
