The experiences analyzed in this volume come from two telecollaborative projects developed by the São Paulo State University (UNESP), in Brazil, with universities from other countries: the Brazilian Virtual Exchange (BRaVE) Program and the Teletandem Brasil Project. The BRaVE Program aims at fostering an online collaborative learning modality that promotes intercultural contact and the exchange of ideas by connecting Brazilian undergraduate or graduate students with students from different higher education institutions around the world. The Teletandem Brasil Project is based on a mode of telecollaboration (teletandem) that creates a virtual, collaborative and autonomous context for learning foreign languages in which two students help each other to learn their own languages or a language of proficiency. They do so by using the text, voice and webcam image resources, and by adopting the three principles of tandem learning: autonomy, reciprocity, and separate use of both languages. Language, Culture and Literature in Telecollaboration Contexts will be of interest to both educational researchers and teachers as it presents, on the one hand, an innovative tool to promote the democratization of foreign language learning; and, on the other hand, discusses how telecollaborative projects can contribute to the training of language and literature teachers. 001480775 588__ $$aOnline resource; title from PDF title page (SpringerLink, viewed September 11, 2023). 001480775 650_0 $$aLanguage and languages$$xStudy and teaching. 001480775 650_0 $$aTelecommunication in education. 001480775 650_6 $$aLangage et langues$$xÉtude et enseignement. 001480775 650_6 $$aTélécommunications en éducation. 001480775 655_0 $$aElectronic books. 001480775 7001_ $$aRamos, Karin Adriane Henschel Pobbe,$$eeditor.$$0(orcid)0000-0002-9850-1393$$1https://orcid.org/0000-0002-9850-1393 001480775 7001_ $$aCarvalho, Kelly Cristiane Henschel Pobbe de,$$eeditor.$$0(orcid)0000-0001-6115-3367$$1https://orcid.org/0000-0001-6115-3367 001480775 77608 $$iPrint version:$$aRamos, Karin Adriane Henschel Pobbe$$tLanguage, Culture and Literature in Telecollaboration Contexts$$dCham : Springer International Publishing AG,c2023$$z9783031338298 001480775 852__ $$bebk 001480775 85640 $$3Springer Nature$$uhttps://univsouthin.idm.oclc.org/login?url=https://link.springer.com/10.1007/978-3-031-33830-4$$zOnline Access$$91397441.1 001480775 909CO $$ooai:library.usi.edu:1480775$$pGLOBAL_SET 001480775 980__ $$aBIB 001480775 980__ $$aEBOOK 001480775 982__ $$aEbook 001480775 983__ $$aOnline 001480775 994__ $$a92$$bISE
