Description

Alexander AME (African Methodist Episcopal) Church at 204 S. E. Fifth St. The church building dates to 1889, but the congregation goes back to 1843. This building was razed in 1960. Congregants stand outside under a sign proclaiming the 100th session of the Indiana Conference.
