Description

L & N RR (Louisville & Nashville Railroad) Station at 300 Fulton Ave., formerly 214 Fulton Ave., aka Union Station. Built in 1902, as the popularity of passenger rail declined, this was vacated in 1975 and razed in 1985 when restoration plans failed. A handwritten note, dated Jan. 5, 1907, reads, "Dear Lizzie, last Saturday night by this time I was to call on your girls and tonight I am thinking of you (excuse me) Emma. This is postcard 2103. It was made in Germany.
