R & G Furniture Store at 116-118 Main St. The building was built around 1896 for a different company, but R & G moved in in 1904. Some time around 1939 the exterior was remodeled, and the triangle at the top was flattened. It went out of business in 1967 and was razed the next year. Nothing seen here remains of this block of Main St. This is postcard 7172.
