Description

Old State National Bank at 420 Main St. The Old State National Bank was established in 1834 as a branch of the Old State Bank of Indiana. Its first location was a temporary quarters at Main St. and Water St.(Riverside) In 1835 it moved into a new building and was renamed Old National Bank in 1883. In 1916 it moved to the location shown, and in 1927 was altered/modernized (the view here is thought to be pre-1927) The bank moved again in 1970 and this building was razed. Old National Bank still exists today.
