Delaware School at 500 E Delaware St. /700 N. Garvin St. was built in 1896. An addition was added to the rear circa 1910 and another wing in 1915, serving to triple the size of the original building. In 1929 a gym was added, expanding the school to Columbia St. It was razed and a new facility built in 1958. In 1972 the back was razed and a new addition built. No trace of what is seen here remains.
