Northbrook Shopping Center on First Ave. at night, with these stores: Abbey Gifts at 3808, Taj Mahal India Imports at 3810, Mar-Lek women's clothing at 3812, Flower World at 3830, Dawson-Winslow Shoes at 3832, the Baby Shop at 3834, and at the end, Strouse's clothing at 3842. The stores to the left of Abbey Gifts and the Baby Shop cannot be identified, nor can the 3 to the left of Strouse's. This shopping center still exists, and the Schnucks (without Walgreens) is still there, but none of the other businesses are there. Rogers Jewelers still has an Evansville location. Abbey Gifts was an outlet for Saint Meinrad Archabbey materials; Saint Meinrad is a Benedictine community in St. Meinrad, IN. Abbey Press/Abbey Gifts ceased operations in 2016 or 2017.
