Auto show inside the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Coliseum at 350 Court St. It was built in 1916-1917 as a tribute to the men of Vanderburgh County who fought in the American Civil War and Spanish�American War. The McNeely Auto Co., here advertising the Maxwell car, was owned by Fred W. McNeely and located at 318 Upper 1st St., with the garage at 15-17 Chandler Ave. According to Wikipedia, "The Maxwell was a brand of automobiles manufactured in the United States of America from about 1904 to 1925. The present-day successor to the Maxwell company is Fiat Chrysler Automobiles." The United Auto Co. also seen in this photograph could not be located in city directories of this time period.
