Postcard of the L & N Railroad station/Union Station at 300 Fulton Ave., formerly 214 Fulton Ave. The depot was built in 1902, vacated in 1975, and razed in 1985. This postcard is from a slightly later time than MSS 184-0829, and features an inset picture of the "Dixie Flyer." This passenger train, according to Wikipedia, "operated from 1892 to 1966 via the "Dixie Route" from Chicago and St. Louis via Evansville, Nashville, and Atlanta to Florida."
