Description

The Evansville Museum of Arts, History and Science at 411 S.E. Riverside Dr. has a permanent exhibition entitled Rivertown, USA. "The shops of Rivertown, USA provide a glimpse of life in Evansville and the Midwest in the 19th and early 20th centuries. The progression of structures reflect the general growth of many communities. A log cabin represents the type of living quarters constructed by early settlers, while a kitchen and parlor depict a home in a more established community. Other shops illustrate the types of services that were established by entrepreneurs, artisans and professionals to serve a growing population." This is the window of The Tin Horn Toy Shop display.
