The Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Coliseum at 350 Court St. It was built in 1916-1917 as a tribute to the men of Vanderburgh County who fought in the American Civil War and Spanish�American War. What is shown here is on the pediment of the building, and is a bas relief of the the'flag and eagle emblem of the Grand Army of the Republic.
