"A Merry Christmas" postcard featuring a picture of holly and bells, plus an inset picture of the "Post Office & Custom House, Evansville, Ind." The U.S. Post Office and Customs House at 200 NW 2nd St. is now called the old post office. It was built 1873-1879. Abandoned by the federal government in 1969, it was acquired by the city in 1977 and currently holds a catering/event venue.
