Zion Evangelical United Church of Christ, now Zion United Church of Christ at 415 NW 5th St. A small number of German immigrants established this congregation in 849, and by 1855 this church was built. The tower and bells were added at a later date. The cupola is the old Vanderburgh County Courthouse at 201 NW 4th St. and the tower in the middle is the (former) Old National Bank building at 420 Main St.
