From left: The Evansville Store at 318 Main St., Acme Jewelers at 328 Main St., and Burt's Shoes at 330 Main St. In terms of dating this photograph, the Evansville Store was at this address in 1976 but not in 1979. It is thought that these buildings still exist, but the fascades have been changed to the extent that they are not identifiable. Closed to all but pedestrian traffic in the 1960s, Main St. reopened to one way vehicular traffic in 2002. SEE MSS 184-0219 for the buildings just to the left of this.
