TY - GEN N2 - George L. Mesker & Co. (architectural iron works) opened in this location (30 Ingle St.) in 1892. That building was destroyed by fire in 1891 and soon rebuilt. With expansions, by 1962 it comprised a city block. The name became Mesker Steel in 1971; the business closed in 1981. After use by another company, this building was razed in 1992.
