Oral history interview of Edgar H. Wolf, Jr. Edgar Henry Wolf, Jr. was drafted into WWII (1943-1945) in the Army, 1st Army, and served as a corporal. He saw action in the European Theater including the Battle of the Bulge and D-Day. His unit liberated a concentration camp. He was a rifleman and expert marksman, and was awarded a Purple Heart and 2 Bronze Stars.
