Oral history interview of Omar Wallace. Omar Thomas Wallace, Jr. enlisted in the U.S. Navy Reserve (1940-1946) and served as an Aviation Machinist Mate First Class aboard the USS New York (BB 34) and USS Sangamon (CVE 26). He saw action in the Pacific Theater and was present at the sinking of the Bismarck.
