Oral history interview of Harold Schnur. Harold T. Schnur was drafted into WWII (1944-1946) in the Army 634th Field Artillery Batallion Battery B, and served as a Private First (1st) Class. He saw action in the European Theater in Scotland, Engand, France, Germany, and Austria. He trained truck and track drivers, and acted as a cannoneer and with dispatch motorpool. From January through May 8, 1945 he was in combat. He received a Good Conduct medal and was offered a Purple Heart.
