Oral history interview of Charles York. Charles E. York enlisted in WWII 91943-1946) in the Navy aboard the USS Yorktown CV-10 and was a Seaman First (1st) Class. He saw action in the Pacific Theater and received 7 Battle Stars and other ribbons. He was plane caption for one fighter Hellcat with a kill ration of 19 to 1.
