Oral history interview of Othmar Dick. Othmar Joseph Dick was drafted into WWII (1943-1945), in the Army, the 3rd Army, both the 16th and 19th Cavalry Reconnaissance Squadrons. He saw action in the European Theater, in England, Scotland, and France. He was an O-14 mechanic, working on tanks, motorcycles, armored cars, and 6 X 6 trucks. He would have been at the invasion of Japan had Japan not surrendered.
