Oral history interview of Henry Stock. Henry C. Stock was drafted into WWII (1943-1945) in the Marine Corps and served aboard the USS Cowpens CVL-25, an aircraft carrier. He saw action in the Pacific Theater, at Pearl Harbor and as part of the occupation of Japan. He was a Corporal and manned 20 mm anti-aircraft guns, and served as the guard captain of the ship. He toured the atomic bomb devastated cities.
