Oral history interview of Bill Meisler. William Shelby Meisler was drafted into WWII (1943-1946), serving in the Army 24th Hospital Center, 102nd General Hospital as a Corporal. In addition to time in Arkansas and California, he served in the Pacific Theater in Biak Island (Indonesia), Hollandia (New Guinea), and Manila, Philippines.
