Oral history interview of John Siner. John T. Siner was drafted into WWII (1943-1945) in the Army Air Corps, 652nd Bomb Squadron 8th Air Force and saw action in the European Theater. He was a Staff Sergeant, acting as both a tail and belly gunner, depending upon the type of aircraft. He was recognized for his reconnaissance missions and received an Air Medal with 4 oak leaf clusters.
