Oral history interview of Starlus Buttry. Starlus E. "Tom" Buttry was drafted into WWII (1942-1946) into the Navy and served aboard the liberty ship Jim Bridger and LST 582. He was a Radioman First (1st) Class. He saw action in the Pacific Theatre, in the Phillipines, Ikinawa, Luzon, Guadacanal, Japan, and New Caledonia
