Oral history interview of Walter Sutton. Walter H. "Junior" Sutton enlisted in WWII (1942-1945) in the Army Air Force, 781st Squadron, 465th Bomb Group, 15th Air Force. His highest rank was captain, and he served as the squadron bombadier. He saw action in the European Theater, in Italy and Africa, and received 3 air medals and a Distinguished Flying Cross.
