Oral history interview of Donald Cobb. Donad Ray Cobb was drafted into WWII (1943-1945) in the Navy and served aboard the USS Murphy DD-603 as Radioman Second (2nd) Class. He was present for the Normandy invasion, bombardment of Cherbourg, France, and the invasion of southern France. His ship escorted the USS Quincy to Malta and on through the Suez.
