Oral history interview of Talmadge Wells. Talmadge Leon Wells was drafted into WWII (1944-1946) in the Army, 3rd Army, 290th Ordinance Medium Maintenance as a Corporal (Technician 5th grade). He saw action in the European Theater in England, France, Belgium, and Germany. He was present for the Rhineland campaign, and was awarded battle stars. He worked as a combination welder, weapons carrior, worked on small vehicles, drove a 6 X 6 tank with a platoon, and handled small arms.
