Dance with teenagers at the Posey County Memorial Coliseum, at 126 E. 3rd St., on the corner with Walnut St. This building, constructed for $2000,000, was dedicated on Armistice Day 1926. Posey County veterans of WWI, WWII, Korea, and Vietnam are honored on plaques in the interior. The original building had an auditorium, gym, pool, etc. After the 1937 flood, this building was used as a hospital and dormitory. Today the structure is primarily used as government offices and as a meeting place.
