Description

Two boys in a decorated horse-drawn buggy, near a wagon from Tente & Son Grocers. The grocery was at 300 W. 2nd St. There is a Christian F. Tente (1833-1913) buried in Bellefontaine Cemetery that probably was the owner of this business--an advertisement for C.F. Tente Family Grocery was located. This might be for the 1916 centennial of Mt. Vernon.
