From the left: People Savings Bank at 222 Main St., Fred P. Straub and Co. at 224 Main St., Goodman and Frank clothing at 226 Main St. The Straub hardware business was in this location 1860-1940. The building on the far right, just partially visible, was Vickery Bros. grocery, which moved into what had been the Washington House hotel (built 1855) in 1878.
