Description

Methodist Temple at 2109 Lincoln Ave. Bayard Park Methodist was organized in 1910 when members of Trinity Methodist started new parish in the expanding east side. [The] church joined with the dwindling 4th St ME Church. [1937] Delayed by the war, construction on the new site on outer Lincoln began. The church sold building November 14, 1947 to Church of Nazarene, to be occupied on January 1950. The congregation finally moved when the new church was complete and was renamed Methodist Temple.
